Latest Reviews, Comments, Questions for Toksook Bay Sub-Regional Clinic

Comment from Jean: Dear Stout Street Dental Clinic, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the dental care I received at your clinic which has caused severe damage to my health. In December of 2021, I underwent a dental procedure at your clinic which resulted in an infection that later progressed to my brain causing 3 strokes and left me disabled for life. This has resulted in a lifetime of medical bills and necessary care that is now an extraordinary financial burden. I trusted your clinic's dental care and expertise to prevent such a serious complication. However, your lack of attention and perception has left me with a devastating and life-altering experience. The overwhelming medical expenses, resulting disability, and the cost of specialized equipment has caused me immense frustration and terror. I am now confined to a wheelchair and unable to work or live a normal life. Therefore, I urge you to take immediate action in addressing this matter. I am requesting financial assistance to help ease my financial burden caused by your malpractice. I implore you to act with honesty and integrity by taking responsibility for the poor quality of care you offered to me and offer some form of compensation to help support my ongoing medical expenses and lifetime of care needed. I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and rectify the situation that you have caused. As a patient who placed my trust in your clinic, I deserve the right to receive proper care and treatment and not be left with a lifetime of disability and expenses. Sincerely, Jean

Our mission is to provide accessible, affordable, high-quality health care and support programs to infants, children, and youth across Colorado regardless of their insurance status or family’s ability to pay. We have grown from a single clinic that provided approximately 2,000 patient visits a year to a vast statewide network with 12 clinics that provide more than 64,000 visits to over 24,000 patients a year. Our dedicated and highly trained staff strive to provide a true medical home experience tor patients and a welcoming and culturally responsive environment for children and families of all backgrounds. More than 85% of the children we serve live in low-income households and every year, we provide over $1 million of free care to families who are uninsured or unable to afford health care services. We treat our families with respect, compassion and understanding. In 2016, RMYC celebrated 20 years of connecting kids to healthy lives with medical, dental, and behavioral health care, nutrition and fitness education, emergency and supplemental food, early literacy and school readiness support, and linkages to community resources for other basic needs such as housing, transportation, food, and clothing. We hope you will take a few minutes to watch our videos to learn more about the extraordinary programs and services we offer.
