Yearly eye exams are an important part of your overall health and our team is ready to welcome you to Southside for high quality vision care. We accept most public and private insurance plans and offer many of our vision services on a sliding fee scale for qualified patients. We also accept self-pay patients and can setup a payment plan that works best for you. Our professional vision staff treats both children and adults. New patients are always welcome!

Is dental care included?
Usually not, and this is the single most common disappointment. Dental is frequently a separate program with its own eligibility, its own waiting list, and a narrower service list — extractions and urgent pain may be covered while fillings, crowns, root canals, and dentures are not. Confirm that dental is offered at this specific location before travelling.
Can I get a prescription refilled here?
Most clinics require an appointment before they will refill anything, and a first appointment can be weeks out. If you are close to running out of a medication you cannot safely stop, say so when you call — say the medication name and how many days you have left. Ask your pharmacy at the same time; pharmacists can sometimes authorise a short emergency supply.
What if I need care today?
