  • Clinic Details: Medical Respite Care is acute and post-acute medical care for homeless persons who are too ill or frail to recover from a physical illness or injury on the streets, but no longer need to be in a hospital. The Coalition’s Medical Respite Care Program serves homeless individuals who have no place to recover after they have been discharged from the hospital. In addition to providing visits from nursing staff, respite care provides a safe, secure and restful environment, where patients can access supportive services such as housing assistance and follow-up treatment.
