Details: Medical Respite Care is acute and post-acute medical care for homeless persons who are too ill or frail to recover from a physical illness or injury on the streets, but no longer need to be in a hospital. The Coalition’s Medical Respite Care Program serves homeless individuals who have no place to recover after they have been discharged from the hospital. In addition to providing visits from nursing staff, respite care provides a safe, secure and restful environment, where patients can access supportive services such as housing assistance and follow-up treatment.

Our services are available throughout the school year to any Denver Public Schools (DPS) student or child that attends a DPS affiliated Early Childhood Education (ECE) center within Denver County. SBHCs offer convenient care that limits the amount of time students are out of class and parent/guardians have to be off work. Details: The Women’s Mobile Clinic is one of Denver Health’s federally-qualified community health centers. The Women’s Mobile Clinic provides patient education as well as cervical and breast cancer screening, including digital mammography. The Mobile Clinic is designed to help reduce barriers to cancer screening that many women experience. By moving the Mobile Clinic to each of the other eight Denver Health community health clinics and to various other sites in the metropolitan area, Denver Health patients are able to more easily access breast and cervical cancer screening. Women may access both cervical and breast cancer screening in one visit or they may opt to have only one service. Our clinic staff is fluent in English and Spanish and for most other languages, interpreter services are available. Patient navigation and case management services are available to those women who need additional follow-up to their screenings.

Details: You'll find that the Denver Health Emergency Department and Pediatric ER and Urgent Care Center walk-in entrances are accessible through the main Denver Health Pavilion A entrance, which is located on the circle drive off of Delaware Street between 6th Avenue and 8th Avenue.
