Clinic Details:Wesley Health Centers (Bell Gardens) service area was identified in 2003 as the most indigent area in LA County in terms of access to health care and health care coverage for women, children and families. The number of persons in the community who are medically indigent and lack insurance is among the highest in Los Angeles County. In March 2005, JWCH re-opened the Bell Gardens Clinic in order to increase access to health care in Bell Gardens and the surrounding community.

Details: For 35 years, South Central Family Health Center (SCFHC) has played a major role in filling the void for comprehensive health services in the historically underserved and uninsured population of South Los Angeles. The services provided directly address healthcare issues prevalent among geographically and economically disadvantaged individuals and families. Since its inception, SCFHC has been in the forefront committed to addressing healthcare disparities in a competent and linguistically appropriate manner.
