Details: Wesley Health Centers (Bell Gardens) service area was identified in 2003 as the most indigent area in LA County in terms of access to health care and health care coverage for women, children and families. The number of persons in the community who are medically indigent and lack insurance is among the highest in Los Angeles County. In March 2005, JWCH re-opened the Bell Gardens Clinic in order to increase access to health care in Bell Gardens and the surrounding community.

Details: For 35 years, South Central Family Health Center (SCFHC) has played a major role in filling the void for comprehensive health services in the historically underserved and uninsured population of South Los Angeles. The services provided directly address healthcare issues prevalent among geographically and economically disadvantaged individuals and families. Since its inception, SCFHC has been in the forefront committed to addressing healthcare disparities in a competent and linguistically appropriate manner. SCFHC has more than 160 staff members of which 25 are clinicians who provide the direct medical services, treatment and care to patients. In 2002, SCFHC was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) 330 Clinic. Details: St. John’s Well Child and Family Center (SJWCFC) is an independent 501(c)(3) community health center. We serve patients of all ages through a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers and school-based clinics that span the breadth of Central and South Los Angeles and Compton. Details: Wesley Health Centers (Lynwood 2) overwhelmingly serves low income and medically indigent individuals residing in Lynwood and the surrounding area of Compton. Because the majority of the clinic's clientele are people of childbearing age, their primary needs include family planning services and access to adequate prenatal care. In addition, the women are at high risk of cervical cancer, making screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections an important service at the clinic.

PACE provides participants with complete medical, social, nutritional, rehabilitative and transportation services, making it possible for seniors to live with dignity and pride in their own homes while receiving the care they need. If someone in your family is 55 years or older and has chronic medical conditions, PACE may be the right option for them. Our program serves seniors who: Are 55 years or older; Live in the PACE service area; Need assistance with daily living; Require a level of care equal to nursing home services; Can live safely in the community with the help of PACE services.
