Our goal is to see that every Long Islander has a "medical home" - a place where people you know provide the kind of primary and preventative care that safeguards the health for you and your family.
Great care delivered by compassionate doctors and nurses are available right in your own neighborhood. Our six health center locations provide multiple health services such as Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN/ Dentistry, Podiatry, Optical, Behavioral Health and Nutrition. We can even help you obtain low or no-cost insurance coverage, if eligible.

Details: Q Clinic provides free primary care to anyone who walks in our door and is tailored to serve the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. We are a student-run free clinic established in October 2015 by medical students and faculty at Columbia University Medical Center. Many people face discrimination within healthcare, or have to teach their doctors about the experiences they have and the language they use to talk about their body. Our clinic offers an alternate space to receive quality care in a safe, respectful, and more casual setting. Our trained team of medical students and doctors want to learn from you and partner with you to improve your health. By receiving care from Q Clinic, you are contributing to the education of a new generation of compassionate and competent health care providers. Q Clinic is located at 446 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, in a partnership with Metropolitan Community Church of New York. Our walk-in hours are every Wednesday 6:00 PM – 7:30 pm. Details: Housing Works Community Health Care now offers services at West 37th Street. Providers are available twice a week; we will expand hours once renovations are complete. The newest extension of our growing FQHC network, the site offers primary care, psychiatric services, STI treatment, PEP and PrEP, medication management, HEP C testing and treatment, and more!
