Latest Reviews, Comments, Questions for Toksook Bay Sub-Regional Clinic

Comment from Bobbie Jenke:

I'm VERY concerned about how Sebastopol Community Health Center, who receives SEction 330 Federal Grants  is treating certain patients. ME! Dr. Rhonda Berney, a, former Kaiser HMO doctor of 13 years, was abusive and neglectful to me-a former Kaiser patient, who Kaiser FAILED to properly diagnose and treat, and more, and I am worse and disabled today left untreated with serious injuries.  Was Dr. Berney trying to blacklist me as a patient when she neglected and ABUSED me at my Sept. 2013 appt with her at Sebastopol Comm Hlth Cntr? Did she talk to her prior Kaiser colleagues who biased her against me??  She accepted Medicare payments to ABUSE me. The federal gov. should intervene-if that clinic is NOT going to help me with asthma, breathing obstruction, drop foot, post-surgical neck evaluation. I'm only 56 years old, Don't smoke, don't drink. Led healthy life as CA Special Educator-pd back all student loans-are they throwing me away? Someone PLEASE intervene! This post is copied to Federal Committees on Healthcare oversight.

    • Details: Since 2001, the Jewish Community Free Clinic (JCFC) has been providing completely free medical care to anyone in need, regardless of any discriminating factors. From our first days in a one room club-house to our fully equipped medical offices that we occupy today, the JCFC offers services to anyone in need who finds themselves without health coverage. In March of 2014 we received the donation of our own medical offices. This donation was made by a local family who understands the important role the Jewish Community Free Clinic plays in the community. This generous gift strengthens our long-term ability to ensure that no one in our community goes without affordable, quality, on-demand care. During the past year more than 2,500 adults and children came to receive services at the JCFC. Clients come from as far as 100 miles to be seen during one of our weekly drop-in clinics. Interpreters are always available for Spanish speakers.
