Catherine’s is named for Sister Catherine McAuley, the founder of the Sisters of Mercy, whose example of giving inspires our work.

- Details: This traveling school health program provides comprehensive dental and vision examinations at over 70 schools in the following participating school districts: Cedar Springs, Comstock Park, Godfrey Lee, Godwin Heights, Grand Rapids, Kelloggsville, Kentwood and Wyoming. Dental services include dental education, oral hygiene instruction, dental examination, x-rays, teeth cleaning, fluoride treatment, dental sealants and access to follow-up care. Vision services include comprehensive, dilated vision/ocular health exams and corrective eyeglasses to children at risk for vision problems. This program is the first of its kind in Michigan. School Linked Health Services are provided in the schools and are designed to keep students healthy through increased access to care.
