Details: Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics (RMYC) was established in 1996 by Dr. Larry Wolk, a Denver pediatrician who recognized a gap in the Colorado healthcare system that left many children without access to healthcare. Our mission is to provide accessible, affordable, high-quality health care and support programs to infants, children, and youth across Colorado regardless of their insurance status or family’s ability to pay. We have grown from a single clinic that provided approximately 2,000 patient visits a year to a vast statewide network with 12 clinics that provide more than 64,000 visits to over 24,000 patients a year. Our dedicated and highly trained staff strive to provide a true medical home experience tor patients and a welcoming and culturally responsive environment for children and families of all backgrounds. More than 85% of the children we serve live in low-income households and every year, we provide over $1 million of free care to families who are uninsured or unable to afford health care services. We treat our families with respect, compassion and understanding. In 2016, RMYC celebrated 20 years of connecting kids to healthy lives with medical, dental, and behavioral health care, nutrition and fitness education, emergency and supplemental food, early literacy and school readiness support, and linkages to community resources for other basic needs such as housing, transportation, food, and clothing. Details: The Center for Hearing, Speech and Language is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that offers health care services of the highest quality to the people who live in the Metropolitan Denver and Colorado Springs areas. We've been doing this for a long time! For 95 years people have been coming to us for exceptional care for people of all ages and economic backgrounds. Details: Sewall’s Diagnostic and Evaluation Clinic conducted 68 diagnostic evaluations for children from 18 months through 10 years old. Sewall is proudly one of the only clinics providing arena style evaluations in the larger metro area, and one of two serving Medicaid-eligible families. Last year, 67 of the children served were Medicaid-eligible.
Details: Denver Health’s School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) offer specialized pediatric focused care to treat most health conditions that affect school-aged children. Our services are available throughout the school year to any Denver Public Schools (DPS) student or child that attends a DPS affiliated Early Childhood Education (ECE) center within Denver County. SBHCs offer convenient care that limits the amount of time students are out of class and parent/guardians have to be off work. In many cases, students are able to get same day or next day appointments.

As the oldest U.S.-community health center west of the Mississippi, Eastside clinic has been caring for generations of patients since 1966. The center is certified as a Patient-Centered Medical Home, which means patients take an active role in their health care and have access to care that is coordinated between different services such as pharmacy, mental health, social work and primary care, all in one physical location.Eastside clinic is located one block away from the RTD light rail’s D line, off of 28th and Welton, in the heart of the Five Points neighborhood.

Details: The Coalition's Health Outreach Program (HOP) was founded in 2002 to increase access to health care for the homeless. By taking health care on the road, and delivering health care in the evening hours, the HOP helps address typical barriers to health care such as lack of transportation or scheduling difficulties for the working homeless. Each week, the mobile medical clinic makes scheduled stops at homeless shelters and drop-in centers across Denver. The HOP is a gateway to engage in integrated medical, behavioral, dental, and vision care. The mobile medical clinic travels with a Medical Assistant accompanied by a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner. On board, HOP providers run two treatment rooms, a small pharmacy, and a lab. New patients are welcome to walk-in for care at any location. The primary goal of the HOP is to provide care for every patient onsite, and to encourage follow-up care at the Coalition’s Stout Street Health Center.
Details: The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless has been delivering health care for the homeless in downtown Denver for over 30 years. Our Stout Street Health Center, provides integrated health care for more than 13,000 homeless individuals each year. Opened in 2014, the 53,192 square-foot Health Center replaced the former Stout Street Clinic, an aging structure that lacked adequate space to effectively meet the complex healthcare needs of an expanding homeless population. The Health Center introduces a unique model of integrated health care targeted to the needs of homeless patients. It fully incorporates patient-centered, trauma-informed medical and behavioral health care, substance treatment services, dental and vision care, social services and supportive housing to more fully address the spectrum of problems homeless adults and children bring to their medical providers. The Health Center offers a range of health services in one suite, from one team who work closely with each other to care for our patients. Services are provided to individuals experiencing homelessness or at-risk of becoming homeless regardless of a person’s ability to pay or immigration status. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless’ (CCH) health care system is eligible for Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) medical malpractice liability protection. CCH is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b and deemed a Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).
