    • Location: North Little Rock, AR - 72114 | 2.1 miles away
    • Contact Phone: (501) 376-6694
    • Details: Since 1994, a Sunday afternoon Medical Clinic, with an accompanying pharmacy, has served the homeless and uninsured to meet their medical needs. The volunteer staffs of doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, and registrars volunteer their time to meet the medical needs of this community. The patient is examined by a physician who then prescribes appropriate medication. If the pharmacy has the drug in stock, the patient will get a 30-day supply. Volunteers then file with the various patients assistance programs for additional medication. In 2001, RCM’s medical clinic added a two-chair dental clinic with two volunteer dentists. In 2007, this was expanded to three chairs with over 300 patients a year served through the dental clinics. Since that time, the number of dental patients served doubled to over 600 per year. In 2011, over 1,600 appointments were filled through the dental clinic.
