Under-insured adults are those who have some health insurance, but still cannot afford the medical and/or dental care they need and/or essential medicines (for instance, those that keep blood pressure or diabetes under control). Very often, under-insured individuals have avoided getting treatment that they need for years because of the costs involved. We are here to help! The CCFHCC follows a Volunteer in Medicine (VIM) model that uses the time, talent, and energy of numerous active and retired medical, dental, and non-clinical individuals to provide care and services to our patients. We have added pediatrics for uninsured.
